| Old timers candy? | | Here is a photo of one of my favorite candies since childhood.
They are NECCO wafers.
They are made by New England Confectionary Co out of Massachusets.
They are multi colored wafers that are basically all sugar.
I have a hard time finding them at local grocery stores.
But the Dollar Tree store seems to have them all the time.
ANother old time candy I still love is Good N Plenty.
Remember Choo CHoo Charlie?
I miss those comericials.

| | i think my cat has all timers | | I think that my cat has all timers because its kind of like she has forgotten that she has eaten, because everytime you walk into the kitechen she goes and eats again even when she has just eaten five minutes ago, she is about 10 years old and we seriously think that she cant remember that she has eaten because she is eating every five minutes.[em]happy[/em][em]lol[/em] | |

| What is with these timers? | | Ok I just submitted a new discusion and like 3 seconds after submitting it it said it was start 6 minutes ago. Now either I am losing time or mylot is in a time warp continium or something. That is just weird. Do you ever notice these things or am I just too bored today? | |
| | Light Timers | | I use timers on two of our lamps to keep lights on all night. I alternate the times so the floor lamp on our lower level stays on from midnight to 5am and the other one upstairs in our living room to go on at 8pm and run until midnight. I feel safer having lights on all the time after dark. Right now I have 40 watt bulbs in both but most of the time 60 watt bulbs. It doesn't cost much to do this. Do you use times on any lights in your house or outside? | |
| | How do you Teach Old timers Computer! | | The past three weeks, I have three old timers who bought new desktops and laptop. I helped them set it up and practically tried to teach them the basics of computers and I tell you, it has been quite frustrating! They are in their 70's and I was glad that their anxious and willing to update themselves with the new technology and having no prior knowledge can be daunting and a big challenge for them. Their minds are willing but their capacity to learn and their dexterity have become limited at their ripe old age. I have spent many hours teaching them and yet it seems that it doesn't sink in. I am frustrated as much as they are but what can you do to help if their mind fumbles and fingers trembles! In the end I recommended them to join basic computing classes for the oldies as I had enough repeating my garbage!0.01= $50.00) Thats $50 in your pocket for doing pretty much nothing!!! You see the more people you get working the more money you make.Now this program works on not 1 but two refferal levels, so imagine now that a few of your people reffer people, you still make money off of their refferals!That means you have an endless flow of... | |

| Quick question for you old-timers on myLot | | Do you still have the first discussions you posted when you joined? I've looked around, but haven't found anything that says if there's a certain time period the discussions are kept and then dumped to make space, or if they keep them all for as long as you're an active member.I ask because a friend was checking out one of my discussions and asked me if I had copies of my writing here on my own drive, which I do not. There are a couple I'd hate to lose, so I figure I'd better find out now, before my post count gets any bigger!Thanks! | |

| | A Question for Clixsense Long Timers | | I have recently joined clixsense. i have 4 referrals and one of them has upgraded their membership giving me $5 which is fantastic. I realise that this scheme is only avaliable until the end of the month. In your experience what will they be likely to change it to.
