Gas or Electric Weed Eater?
Do you prefer a gas or electric weed eater? I know that the gas ones are much nicer and more convient. But for me they are real hard to start. So I have to buy the electric ones. They also work real good, you just have to have the long outdoor extension cord.My yard is not real big, so it is no big deal.
Weed eater help
I pulled the feul lines off my Ryan weed eater and now I cant remember where they go. Does anyone know of a site that shows a diagram of this?
What is the best type/ or brand of weed eater I can buy on a budget?
What is the best type/ or brand of weed eater I can buy on a budget? I am looking for something economical, that won't break on me after a few uses. Gas or electric? Brand? Where did you purchase yours?

Weed Eater or Edger?
what do you use to trim the lawn?
do you do your own lawn or do you have a service that does it?
I was out today picking up my son at school... and in one subdivision I saw 4 lawn service companies. I think that might be a great work field to get into....WOW!![em]lol[/em] My hubby does our lawn, and cuts the grass I think about every other week but I was curious to how many uses services?? I would love to have some one cut our grass and give my husband a break, but the money is just way to tight right now... for the first 9 years of our marriage we lived in apartments so the lawn was never a concern for us...now that we have a house, it is our responsibility and we dont mind doing it... but I see lawn services popping up everywhere now. do you use a service, or do you cut your own lawn?
mower yard
who does your mowing in the summer . and keeps your yard clean.or do you like working in the yard like i do .
At Wits End. Never Ending!
I'm so fed up with every damned thing that I could just sit and just cry and scream my head off! There'sONLY 24 hours in a day damn it! I orWE can't do everything! We have things that need doing at our place AND tons of work to do at my parents place and it seems to haveNO END in sight!Ok, ok, let me explain a bit. My oldest brother came down on Sunday to get dad's air compressor. Now we all knew he came down for that reason and not to visit otherwise, if it weren't for the air compressor, he wouldn't have come down at all. So that said, mom asked me to bring something up to her place so she could show my brother, which I did and my hubby came with me. Needless to say, hubby and I had a huge argument due to his insistent chatter box mouth running on high speed AS SOON AS I GET UP!! Heck! I hadn't reached the toilet yet! He knew better and he got the reaction heKNEW was going to happen! However, we were barely talking by the time we got to my parents place and I went inside while hubby stayed outside with my brother and dad. Once hubby was able to get my brother alone, he explained that we all needed to get together and make a family...
Have any of you ever had a lawnmower or snowblower accident?
Our lawnmower has so many precautions to keep us from hurting ourselves. It won't start unless the handles are out and the blades are turned off. If you try to get off of it while the blades are turning it will shut off automatically. I have heard of people getting their toes or finger cut off. What I have to be careful of is the weed eater. I would have surely cut off one of my toes if I had not had good shoes on as the cord went right across my shoe. Of course I am missing my big toe and the next one to diabetes so maybe that would have been cheaper way to go.
Mow the lawn
Do you have a lawn to mow? How do you mow it?Before we moved we had a very large lawn to mow. It really needed a ride on mower, but we didn't have one, we had to use a push mower, the self propelled kind. It took quite a while, but we'd normally take turns. I'd mow some, hubby would mow some, and my oldest son would mow some... he really liked doing that. Now we have a much smaller yard, and we didn't bring our lawn mower with us because we didn't expect to have to mow our own yard in a trailer park... pfft! Apparently we do, and don't have a mower.Hubby is thinking about getting a motorless mower, or a tool that has a long stick and a flat blade at the bottom... I forgot what that's called. We could almost even just use a weed eater. We don't have much lawn to mow, so we'd just need something small that won't take up too much space in our already over-crowded shed!Who mows your lawn? What do you use to mow it?
