| First Shot | | So I got me a Pentax Optio E80 digital camera for Christmas, and I'm trying it out. This is the first shot I took with it. It's of my progress on a cross-stitch picture I'm working on. | |
| | Anybody own a Pentax K200 D-SLR? | | This is the camera I am working towards owning. I want it sooooo bad. However I have never owned a Pentax and don't know much about them. I have Minoltas and Olympus cameras. I do not own a D-SLR either. I own two Minolta SLR cameras one that is older and is 100% manual and has a dozen lenses (got this one Free on freecycle) that I need to play with more but hate to buy film then get it processed. My other minolta has both automatic and manual features and I have 3 lenses for that one. My digital Olympus is nice but I want an upgrade. | |
| | lens for a pentax 100d | | I bought this camera as I had an old pentax slr with all the lens,.
Unfortunatly when I tried the lens on new camera i have a bit of fogging. Seams to be in the lens. 25 years old some of them. Is there anything I can do | |

| | | What kind of camera do you have and what type of pics do you like to make??? | | Hello all!I'm new here so i thought of starting something. I'm a hobby photographer and love to take pictures. I bet there are thousands here who share my interest:) So lets talk about what you guys like about photography and you actually started it...:)I started off with a Sony T-33 about 5 years ago. I would take lots of pics and really lots of them. I would go everywhere with my camera. I would go out for walks with my camera and take pics here and there of trees, flowers, insects, roads and everything possible. I learned a lot of stuff with that cam. The basics like angle, framing, light control, background and so on...When i came to Germany about 3 years ago, i bought me a Pentax DSLR and jumped in the real fun. Wow, it is fun. I have done party pics, landscapes, portriats, some weddings and so on. Now, i like doing landscapesl, portraits and some art stuff. Its real fun.I would like to hear your story also..Happy Shooting:) | |

| | waterproof cameras | | I live in the Caribbean and regular cameras last a year at best with intensive use because of the marine climate. So i bought a Pentax waterproof camera but it was stolen...I noticed Olympus also has one, also in the 280-300$ range. Like the Pentax, they go until 10ft under water which is fine.Anybody knows better options? | |
| | what was the brand of your first digital camera? | | i thought that it would took me forever to beg my dad for a digital camera lol last may 20 something, he bought me digital camera from singapore and the brand of it was pentax, i just forgot the model lol. it was my first digital camera, i'm gonna took care of it properly so that it would last longer. another thing that has a sentimental value for me[em]lol[/em]how about you? did you buy it on your own or did someone gave it to you or did you also beg your parents just like what i did?[em]rasp[/em] | |
